Kwanki is located at the northernmost tip of Weyard, accessible only after traversing the icy expanse of the Snowfield. The village itself is a compact cluster of sturdy wooden buildings designed to withstand heavy snowfall, with a central path leading from the entrance to the main plaza and the elder's home. The primary puzzle involves gaining entry to the upper levels of the village, which are blocked by a massive ice wall. This barrier can only be melted using the Alchemy Psynergy, specifically the 'Snow' spell or similar elemental manipulation, which requires the player to have mastered this specific magic type beforehand. Without this ability, the path remains sealed. Between games, the location serves as a narrative bridge in The Lost Age, transitioning from a frozen wasteland to a place of hope as the heroes prepare for their ascent to the Sun and Moon Lighthouses. In the sequel, while not revisited in detail, its influence on the world's restoration is felt through the return of seasonal balance.
